I cannot stand the political atmosphere. It is like everyone know 2+2 = 4, but since our President is black and he agrees that 2+2=4 . Some people will deny all logic, and say 2+2=2.67555?? One of my friends, got sick of it and lashed out. BTW, These are someone’s personal opinion. Does not reflect my personal political stance.

Some of you may get a kick out of this, so I decided to post it.  There are a couple of “Rush Limbaugh Worshippers” who insist on e-mailing me all the time on various political issues.  Here’s my response to one of them when he sent me yet another lie about Health Care Reform.  His e-mail to me, which initiated my response, is at the end of this e-mail.  Warning:  This is LONG.

Hi “So and So”,

Since you seem intent on disseminating lies and various untruths just because your party lost the election; and you also seem intent on forwarding the  RepubliCANTs lies to ME as if I am going to suddenldy believe that the Repulsives’ Propaganda Machine have MY or YOUR interest at heart instead of the interest of the big businesses and racist militia groups that fund their campaigns, here’s a reality check that you should send to all of those on your e-mail list, if you have the guts to do so.   (I doubt it though because people PREFER to complain rather that fix the problems or work with those who are about the business of getting things done.)

1.  There is NO assualt on senior citizens. (Call AARP and find out for YOURSELF… you’d be surprised  http://www.aarp.org/)

2.  There is no “dirty little secret.”

3.  Don’t fall for the okie doke.

As a far-rightwinger, YOU, I’m sure, are just the person to whom I can talk to about Biblical passages, as I am sure that you stay abreast of God’s Word so you can twist it and spew it to others who choose not to read and get understanding (tongue in cheek, here — LOL), so here goes:

In the old Testament, remember how the Isrealites constantly complained to Moses?

Throughout Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers, Deuteronomy, the people complained and complained to Moses.

Recall how in Numbers 20, the Iseralistes were so angry, that they told Moses that they would have preferred to remain in slavery than to be free???  This whole freedom thing was a CHANGE that the Isrealites felt that they could have done without!  LOL  In the end, the complainers did not get to the promised land.  God wiped them out.  Now fast forward to today’s issues, and it look’s like “God’s people” (and I use that term euphemistically) would prefer the days of under-; little-; or no health-care reform rather than work TOGETHER to put together a deal that benefits ALL or MOST Americans.

Do not be like the incourageable Isrealistes; model yourself after the Isrealites that believed and followed Moses.  Now, I am NOT saying that President Obama is God incarnate, but I AM saying STOP LETTING OTHERS THINK FOR YOU, and STOP forwarding lies via email.

Now that you are retired, I can tell by your emails that you are surrounded by the Rush Limbaugh “Scare ‘Em and Fear ‘Em Brigade.”  Let me put some levity and balance back into your life.

This is something WORTH forwarding.  Let your Palin Partners – militia groupie – tea bagger friends see BOTH sides of this isssue, not just the side presented on Fearsome and Unbalanced media outlets.  I’ve made comments to you in red bold, so read all the way through.  I know this email is long, and you know that I don’t take this much time for just anybody, but I care about you, Ed, and it appears that you have lost your way  — consider me your torch in the wilderness of Rebuplican Idiotology!!  LOLOL!!!
