I am an artist, photographer, confident, emotionally charged, Christian, at times easily offended but you will never know it, sports fanatic, music lover, museum crawler, world traveler, listener, daughter, friend, lover and WRITER among many other things.  I am the typical Black woman in the sense that I feel like I know it all, however, I’m not afraid to admit when I am wrong. I am sick of the negative stereotypes often placed on young Black men and women and am always looking for the opportunity to prove them to be untrue. I am very honest with my thoughts and like to let my guard down somewhat on buppietheblog. Feel free to join me and let your guard down as well.

What makes me a buppie?

In my opinion when many people think of a Buppie there is a negative connotation of a Black professional that is bougie, high and mighty, with a superiority complex and most likely PAID! I can be any of those things on any given day but do NOT pride myself on being any of them. Being a buppie is not who I am it is a character trait. I enjoy networking and connecting with people to further my private business ventures as well as learning any new ways out here to bring me the mighty dollar. I enjoy giving back to my community and am always looking for a way to do so. Over the past few years I have lived and worked in the DC area, Seoul, South Korea, and Pittsburgh, PA where I was born and raised. I have seen a bit of the world and know all of the opportunities that are available to me and I seize them. Ultimately my open mind makes me a Buppie.
